Mew everyone. I'm the newest member of The Tyger's Den family. My name is Patches and I'm 5 months old (September 2000). I was born a ferral kitten. My momfur, Malta, is a ferral that my meowmie has been taking care of for awhile now. I was part of a litter of 4 kittens. When meowmie first saw me, I was wild. I would spit at her and run away in fear. I wouldn't let her near me. Then one day about a month ago, my brothers started to disappear. One that resembled a cat named Pepe was the first to disappear. Meowmie searched but my brother never came back and was never found. Then my little gray brother came home one afternoon with a broken leg. Meowmie tried to help him, but he must have fallen off the garage roof where we all liked to sleep, and gotten internal injuries. He went to the rainbow bridge the next day inspite of all meowmie tried to do for him. My last brother disappeared about a week later and we never saw him again. I became very lonely and very friendly toward meowmie. She patted me and fed me. She decided enough was enough and locked me up in the back porch to keep me safe. She gave me a litter box, food and water always available, toys, and a warm bed to sleep on with her old nightgown in it for a blanket. I made friends with her. This month, she takes me to the vet to get all my shots and wormings done and a complete health check-up. When I'm certified healthy, I'm coming inside to live with Misty, SnowPuff, Keedie, and Tang! I'm now a very grateful member of this lovely furfamily. I'm so glad meowmie wanted me so I wouldn't have to live outdoors in danger any more! Love and Purrs, Patches
